The Little William Theater Festival of New Music closes its doors after 15 weeks of new, experimental works.

With over 375 pieces premiered over the last four months, we host a special four-hour run with works for two clarinets, and two tubas in our coatroom theater. We will close the festival with a new work by the legendary composer, Ben Johnston. The piece, ‘Goin’ was commissioned for the Little William Theater opened the festival in August, and will be closing it at 4pm this Saturday.

The Festival of New Music comprises four resident ensembles, 94 composers, 350+ new works, and over 400 concerts inside a coatroom, under the stairs in the lobby of the Hammer Museum. All works have been commissioned for this festival, and are under two minutes in length.
