Need to construct a literary way to defend yourself from the cops while peacefully protesting? Ever wanted to express yourself via a chorus of carolers? On Friday, December 9th from 1 -4pm we’ll provide you will the opportunity to do both during our simultaneous Book Bloc Workshop and People’s Microphone Caroling. Ken Ehrlich will teach a workshop on constructing protest shields based on your favorite book covers while Juliana Snapper will join voices with the People’s Microphone Carolers to offer citizens in Echo park a chance to share their own thoughts and have them amplified and gloriously echoed by a chorus.
