We’re offering two limited enrollment crochet workshops with Cheryl Cambras as part of Handball Fever Weekend 2011.

First, fingerless gloves! Perfect for playing handball in cold weather (or using an iPhone to play a handball app). Cheryl will teach students how to crochet their own fingerless gloves out of yarn. All materials provided. This is an intermediate level project, so it is suggested that students have some prior knowledge of crochet.

In conjunction with Carlin Wing’s free Sunday lecture and workshop on the history of handball and ball-making, Cheryl Cambras is offering a class in crocheting balls. Perfect for ornaments, games and cats of all sizes. Fee covers all materials.

Come at 12pm for Carlin’s lecture, and join in Cheryl’s crochet class from 1-4pm. Carlin will simultaneously be conducting a free, drop-in ball-making workshop using found and scavenged materials which you’re also welcome to join.
