Be it a day at the beach or a day at the races, the time has come to make your own large brimmed hat! In this class you will learn to custom fit and trim a beautiful large brimmed hand-woven hat to suit your style.
Through demos you will learn to make hand-made flowers and abstract designs from vintage horsehair and the basics of working with grosgrain ribbon to create detailed bows and embellishments. If you have something that you would like to use to trim your hat (a great scarf, or buttons!) please feel free to bring them in.
This class is great for students at any level, including beginners.
