Come down to Machine Project Saturday, January 28th from 1-4pm for Pocket Sewing 101
In this intro level sewing workshop, participants of all skill-levels will learn the essentials of the fine art of pocket sewing. Learn about the illustrious history of pocketed garments, and how women’s fashion reached the pocketless void that exists today. We’ll then practice crafting our own pocket styles, and have the opportunity to add one to an existing article of clothing.
While no sewing experience is required, a sewing machine is necessary for this workshop. If you do not have a sewing machine but would still like to take the workshop, please email firstname.lastname@example.org subject line [I NEED A SEWING MACHINE] to join our waitlist, and we can work on finding a machine for you.
This workshop is $45 general, $35 for members.
