Julia Goodman, artist and papermaker, and sound artist Scott Cazan have developed a workshop for a multi-sensory exploration of pre-paper technology.

At this event, Julia will discuss the range of materials used prior to the invention of paper. Following the lecture, Julia and Scott invite each participant to make their own piece of beet papyrus. The workshop portion of the event will incorporate live sound feedback, mallets, and hot pink and beet treats.
