Tonite, we listen and we learn. TABLACENTRIC will present a series of audio recordings tracing tabla in all its manifest beauty, from the classical to the contemporary. Specifically, we will be listening to Talvin Singh’s landmark album, OK as well as selections from tabla solo and accompaniment recordings by Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri and Ustad Zakir Hussain.
