S.C.U.M. Meeting #2: SoCal Users of Monomes

a bunch of monomes, being monomey

Sunday, April 10th, 2011

Led by Casey Alexander

Another informal meeting of local monome enthusiasts. This time around Aaron Levitz will present his multi-instrumental improv software for the monome, Yeuda Ben-atar will demonstrate his approach to making music with a gaming joystick and a monome 64, and Kevin Nelson will share his ongoing rgb led monome project. Plus a brief performance by Anenon, and a first look at the new monome “arc” rotary encoder device.

Curiosity seekers always welcome.

These programs are made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs.
