With Juliana Snapper and Andrew Infanti

Returning from their exploration of post-humanity in the stage work “You who will emerge from the Flood” produced in the apocalypse-ready capitals of Europe, Juliana Snapper and Andrew Infanti have washed up, clinging to a grand piano, on the gleaming shores of Machine Project.

Juliana, Andrew (and special guests) will explore that unrepentantly snobbish oeuvre coquettishly labeled “decadence” at the end of the 19th century, and alongside it, the righteous indignation it flared. Recline on the stage with us as we navigate songs’ secret passageways into her most glittering chambers. You may even find your own art song soul mate, a work which may have been pining for you in oblivion for over a century.

Dec. 21-24: Open rehearsal/workshop/sing-along. (call for times or email machine[at]machineproject.com)
