Circuit Drawing 101 Workshop
Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th // 1pm – 6pm
$135 for members // $150 for non-members
CLICK HERE to register; deadline to register is Monday, April 14th
Spend a weekend first learning the basics of circuitry and electronics, and then hand-drawing artworks that double as devices that make sound, light up or compute. The first day will include explanations of circuits, blueprints, and the basic electronics used in the process. On the second day, you’ll draw your circuits, and then fabricate your artwork using copper foil, batteries, and more. (To get a more complete idea of what we’re talking about, you can watch the video of a previous workshop above.)
All materials are provided, and you can take your artwork home on the second day. Basic soldering skills are required, and you’ll need to bring a laptop or tablet that can connect to the internet to class.
This workshop is taught by Gottfried Haider, Tyler Stefanich, and Alex Rickett.
