CONCEPT:

Rock-Paper-Scissors Robot Pants

DESCRIPTION:

Larger-than-life robotic arm mechanism with visible wires, encased in a wearable box with video display & speakers. Articulated robot hand will move independently of the person wearing the suit and pre-programmed video and audio will intimidate anyone foolhardy enough to challenge it. Possible addition of a shopvac suction device with pimp cup.

RECAP OF SUNDAY 03.18.07

HAND/MECHANICS

• hand done, needs to be mounted to arm lever.

COMPUTER/VIDEO DISPLAY

• mark + chris working on it upstairs as walls come down.

SUIT

• basic final suit complete. still needs secondary/left hand w/ pimp cup attachment (must buy pimp cup), though justin made some fingers for it. monitor attached to suit. andie working on legs using corrugated cardboard. michele will steal roommate's speakers and see if they're loud enough.
  • Still want: Circuitboard bling, giant bot-sized pimp rings. Discussed synchronized bot-posse combat styles for when the bot is resting.

SHIT-TALKING, BOT-NAMING

• newcomer mike added some shit-talking; we need to decide on a name for the bot!

THE WEEK AHEAD:

• No big meeting until the end of the week; everyone who's still working on parts for the bot will work separately, and come over to Machine to assemble their part when done (contact Michele to tell her when). Assembly of all parts + blinging out of bot will continue all week. Final pre-contest meeting maybe Wed/Thur/Fri?
• Need to vote on bot's name - come up with list of finalists thru email, then vote when all present at final meeting?
