MYRIAD’s last hurrah, pi/pie, nano-DNA

Emily Lacy’s finale show! Friday March 13th, 8pm. Emily’s been in residence at Machine, and after six weeks of sidewalk serenades, a music film marathon, radio shows, and epic group singalongs, we have to say good-bye. Come join us in this final performance and the release of an album culled from some 45 hours of material she has produced and broadcast in the gallery window over the last 6 weeks. Jackson Fledermaus opens.

Nano-DNA lecture! Saturday March 14th, 8pm. Learn about smiley faces in drops of water, programmable molecular spiders that obey us (kind of), molecular knitting, and haunted-ish forests of nanotubes. This lecture is for anyone curious about molecular computing, nanotech, chemistry, biology and engineering or if you simply want your noodle baked.
