Yelena Zhelezov is a Belarusian-Israeli artist based in Los Angeles.

Her work is intermediary, and as such takes form of installation, objects, texts, film, and puppetry performance. Yelena’s materials are evidentiary of the world, often sourced in architecture, science, art history, or her yard. She uses strategies of research, classification and improvisation in her practice, and holds an MFA in Puppetry and Integrated Media from CalArts.

For the Little William Theater Yelena will be performing a short 1 minute and 30 second puppet show devoted to monumental sculpture, and 1 very short 30 second puppet show that considers unusual units of measurement.
