TABLACENTRIC at Machine Project and the Hammer Museum // April 2010
Join Robin Sukhadia and his 12 pairs of tabla at the Hammer Museum for a series of interactive tabla workshops/events April 5 – April 18. Open tabla classes will be interspersed with live performances from LA based Indian classical artists.

LIVE MUSEUM SOUNDTRACKS: If (like us) you’ve always dreamed of being followed around a museum by a guitarist only you can hear, now is your chance. From 7-9 you can check out Erick Klerks to provide a live audio soundtrack to your viewing experience. One person at a time, first come first served. Free. Curated by Chris Kallmyer.

Thursday April 8: 2-5 PM Tabla Workshops in Hammer Museum Lobby (Free Admission)
Saturday April 10: 1-4 PM in Hammer Museum Lobby – featuring Sheela Bringi (bansuri), Clinton Patterson (trumpet) and Debashish Chaudhuri (tabla). With performances in the Little William Theater.
Thursday April 15: 5-9 PM Tablapusher + Kitundu @ Hammer Museum
Saturday April 17: 4-7 PM Tablapusher + Kitundu @ Hammer Museum – featuring special guest Neelanjana Banerjee.
Also, we have a ping pong table.
