Ghost Ships, Glass Music, Welding, and Knot-Tying

-> We are delighted to celebrate the opening week of Sea Nymph with a lecture from Jason Brown entitled, When Ghost Ships Sailed the Skies! featuring a special performance of glass music by j.frede and friends, on Thursday September 9th at 8pm.

-> On Saturday September 11th at 2pm, our favorite opera singer and recent basement Wagnerian, Juliana Snapper, leads a meeting of the Artists Voice/Sound Lab (AVSL) at Machine. Welcoming any Los Angeles artists working with voice! Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to have a great voice or read music. This is not a choir! Details here.

-> Machine educational opportunities continue with an Introduction to Welding Class on Sunday September 12th, and a Knot-Tying Workshop on Monday September 13th. Registration is very limited for both classes, so we recommend signing up early.

Vistors repeatedly traversed our elaborate rigging throughout the opening on September 5th.

Ezra, not in costume.
