Tobacco adoption program
We’re researching how to grow America’s favorite pariah plant (Tobacco) here in Southern California for a maze that Sara Newey and Christy McCaffrey want to grow next summer. We have a bunch of seedlings that we are looking for people to adopt and track how they grow. This may culminate in making our own cigars in the fall.
We will be giving the seedlings away along with some growing instructions during 4th of July weekend (2010 in case you are reading this from the future). Drop by during our Desert Music event Saturday or our Porch of July Sing-a-long Sunday, or call over during the day to pick one up (213 483 8761)
