  • Intro to Sewing begins this Sunday, February 27th! Sign up here and you’ll be making your own rainproof pants in no time. More info here.

  • This Friday, February 25th, Machine Project will be at the Berkeley Museum of Art with simultaneous kimchi making, plant cloning, electric watermelon, and Tranimal drag make-up workshops in what can only be called the Machine Project Confuse-a-tron. Join us if you’re in the Bay Area, we’d love to see you. Drop in or buy tickets ahead of time; more info here.
  • At Machine Project’s storefront in Echo Park this weekend, join us for tabla and photography by Robin Sukhadia on Friday, February 25th at 8pm. Currently in the middle of a Fulbright Senior Research Grant, Robin is back in LA for one week and will be sharing highlights from his travels/service projects in India, with special guests Rajen Sukhadia and Sheela Bringi.   • And on Saturday, Lay Science, Katie Shook and Eric Lindley‘s monthlong puppetry / science experiment, is coming to a close. If you haven’t been able to come in for a one-on-one performance, this is your chance to see the puppet show and also hear Katie and Eric reveal their findings from this past month’s data collection. Join us on Saturday February 26th at 8pm.
  • Dorkbot 43On Sunday, the presentations at this month’s Dorkbot Socal 43 include some of the most impressive work we’ve ever seen developed in a hidden storage room in a museum. Join them at 1pm at Machine on Sunday, February 27th.
