  • Thursday, March 17th, 9pm St. Paddy’s Irish Folk Song Singalong. Daniel Brummel leads us in timeless classics like “Rising of the Moon,” “The Auld Triangle,” “Pretty Molly Brannigan,” “Minstrel Boy,” and of course all the verses we can find to “Auld Lang Syne” (there are several dozen and they’re ridiculous). Lyrics and chord charts will be handed out and projected above us, and musicians who wish to bring their instruments and jam along should do so. Responsible drinking encouraged, byo. This event is part of Skylike Notdoings, a residency by artist Daniel Brummel.
  • Friday, March 18th, 8pmIsh Klein, Robert Fernandez, and Joshua Edwards are reading selections from their work.
  • Saturday, March 19th, 11am – 5pm — Daniel Brummel is offering another session of all-day guided Zazenkai meditation. Free, but RSVP required; please email machine@machineproject.com to reserve your spot.
  • Saturday, March 19th, 8pm — On this night of the Full Crow Moon, the night the moon swings closest to the earth, Maja D’Aoust will discuss the meaning and technique of chant and invocation, to prime us for a meditative group performance of several devotional chant pieces from the Hindu kirtan and Buddhist mantra traditions, with musical accompaniment. This event is also part of Skylike Notdoings, a residency by artist Daniel Brummel.
