UPCOMING: The Machine Project Field Guide to the Gamble House
Friday, September 19th – Sunday, October 5th
Friends, family, acquaintances, the event of the season is nearly here! Paintings are being hung by a man in soft white gloves, sweaty volunteers are lifting heavy things very carefully, meticulous weed-whacking is underway, and Machine Project has relocated our command center headquarters to the air-conditioned basement of the Gamble House. So today we would like to announce that yes, The Machine Project Field Guide to the Gamble House is actually going to happen starting this weekend, and we think it’ll be really great! So check out our listing of events here, book your tours here, and remember to wear flat shoes and to keep your hands to yourselves!!

WORKSHOPS, WORKSHOPS, WORKSHOPS!: The Gamble House Workshops
Friday, September 19th – Sunday, October 5th
As part of The Machine Project Field Guide to the Gamble House, we will be offering several very interesting workshops, hosted by very interesting artists. Lisa Anne Auerbach will teach you how to make soap, in the “House That Soap Built,” Raphael Arar and Chris Weisbart will help you create primitive wireless technology, spend an afternoon embroidering with Jenny Hart, or learn solar technology with David Casey. Our Gamble House workshops are a nice opportunity to stray from the well worn paths of the guided tours, and spend a few hours in the house doing something strange and pleasant. You can sign up for workshops here.
