Machine Project is proud to present our latest Mystery Theater production: Sahara Tahoe, a play by Dorothy Hoover.

Amy was a nurse at the Sahara Tahoe Casino in Stateline, Nevada. Amy worked until about 2:00 a.m. on September 6, 1970, treating her last patient at 1:40 a.m. Later that same day, both Amy’s employer and her landlord received phone calls from an unknown male falsely claiming she had left town due to a family emergency. On March 22, 1971, a postcard to the San Francisco Chronicle, addressed to “Paul Averly” and believed to be from the Zodiac Killer, appeared to claim responsibility for the disappearance. What appeared to be a grave site was discovered near the Clair Tappaan Lodge in Norden, California, but an excavation yielded only a pair of sunglasses. Amy was never found.

Running Friday, April 8th at 8pm, and Saturday, April 9th at 8 and 10pm. $10 General, $5 for Machine Members.
