Basic Robotic Blimps, and a Lecture on Perspective

Dear friends,

We’re co-hosting a lecture on Sunday with The Institute for Figuring about a newly developed method of perspective drawing using the inner surface of a sphere. The IFF previously brought us hyperbolic crochet and the Business Card Menger Sponge, so we’re really excited about this talk. Also, the images they’ve sent us look rad (see below).

The weekend after that, 7 people (maybe you!) will be building their very own Blubber Bot blimps under the tutelage of our friend Jed Berk. This will be a one-day workshop and space is very limited (just 7, remember?), so sign up today.
