sewing, more sewing, and our valentines day workshop
Dear Friends,
We’ve recovered (kind of) from the art faire and dorkbake, and would like to invite you to three new workshops.
1. Sewing + Electronics (redux) = learn to sew with conductive thread and LEDs. $95, Saturday, Feb 10th, 11am-6pm. Registration and more information about our sewing electronics class.
2. Sewing – Fabrication and alteration. A workshop focusing on making off-the-rack garments unique and have superior fit. Using pre-exisiting garments as a departure we will deconstruct, alter, reshape, refit, renew and transform an ill fitting garment into a well fitted garment. The workshop will involve fabric manipulation, patterning techniques, tailoring to fit and sewing. A more advanced version of our popular introduction to machine sewing. $115, Sunday Feb 11th and 18th. 1-4pm. Registration and more information about our advanced sewing class.
