8pm Wednesday Feb 13th – We-Fi Community Group
The We-Fi Community Group is a Los Angeles based public forum for people interested in Wi-Fi, open-community building, and the WWW to discuss ideas, get help, and present projects. Learn more at our website http://www.we-fi.org.
This month, artist Adam Overton will talk a bit about his practice and help lead a discussion about forms of social exchange that involve sharing and openess. Also, we’ll be taking a look at the back-end of the Network O’ Love a Valentine’s wireless wiki intervention staged from Machine’s open wireless network. Finally, we’ll be giving advice and lending a hand with any problems or projects people bring. See ya there!

8pm Tuesday February 12th – Danielle Adair and Garrett Caples and milkshakes
We have a reading by poet Garrett Caples (Oakland) and performer Danielle Adair (Los Angeles). We’ve looked deep into our collective machine project soul and acknowledged the challenges of leaving the house on a tuesday evening, so we’ll be pairing these two delightful humans with complimentary chocolate milkshakes.
