Summer break over! Come hang out!
We have so many events coming up in the next few weeks, and it’s been so long since we’ve seen you, that it’s probably best to dispose of pleasantries and just list out all the times we hope to see you soon with as many exclamation points as possible!:
A 3-day musical celebration from the Machine Project windowseat, by Emily Lacy! Monday June 23rd – Wednesday June 25th, with a special group folk chant and sing-a-long at 8pm on Tuesday the 24th!
A weeklong exhibit on camouflage with Hanna Rose Shell! June 28th – July 5th! Ghillie suit construction workshop! Collaborative camouflage kinesthetics! A talk! Drawing with the Sumi Ink Club!
On July 6th Jon Rubin is going to jump out of our 2nd-story apartment window! We need people to videotape it, maybe YOU! We need other people across the world to videotape the sun on July 11th! Want more details? Here!!
We’re going to the beach from sundown til sunrise on July 19th/20th, as part of Santa Monica’s GLOW Festival!
Josh Bearman has been hanging out with real-life superheroes, and he’s going to tell us all about that in a talk on August 2nd!
And then JAM-MAKING!!!! With Fallen Fruit, on August 3rd. whew!
