Kate Conklin and the music of Bulgaria
This week at the Hammer Museum…
Kate Conklin Bulgarian Vocal Ensemble
Saturday June 19, 2-5pm
Visitors to the Hammer Museum this weekend will find themselves stumbling onto a serious jackpot. Kate Conklin is a classically trained soprano and a leading interpreter of the highly demanding vocal music of Bulgaria. Her unique program will consist of Bulgarian folk, choral and art music particularly suited to each resonant space within the Hammer. Private concerts will be available in the Little William Theater, along with larger more public pieces in the Hammer Courtyard.
Ensemble: Hannah Arista, Erin Barnes, Arathi Govind and Sydne Sullivan, led by Kate Conklin.
