Camera Obscuras, Sinking Ships, Plant-life, and Coat Rooms
-> At Machine be sure to catch our Camera Obscura before it disappears at 6pm on Wednesday August 18th! We’re here from 12-6pm each day to show you a vast beam of light shooting through our window. We’re also busy planning for the shipwrecked boat which will be implanting itself onto the gallery walls in a few weeks. Josh Beckman’s Sea Nymph is in construction, and if you’re interested in volunteering to help out, please let us know by emailing machine@machineproject.com
-> At the Hammer Museum plants continue to get their minds blown by various attentions we are paying them. Find out more information on the plant vacation, and be sure to witness the final installment of their cultural holiday this Saturday afternoon, August 21st. Also at the Hammer Museum the Little William Theater Festival of New Music will continue into week 3, making museum coat rooms proud everywhere.
