This four session workshop is open to everyone who is interested in typography regardless of experience.
We will be experimenting with existing letterforms to construct a narrative which is inherent in the shape of alphabetic forms, or imply a new one. We also make typographic landscapes combining found images with our typographic compositions. The workshop ends with new proposals of letter forms which are yet to be invented, which can represent new concepts , ideas, or sounds a sort of personalized letter-based system.
Participants who have laptops and design software are encouraged to bring them with you, but if you do not pencil and paper will do!
