Welcome is a ritual dance music blessing to be performed by Jmy James Kidd, Olive McKeon, Perin Hailey McNelis, Jillian Stein and Alexa Weir, with sound composition by Tara Jane ONeil. Version 2.2 will be performed on a hilltop with the dusty brown backdrop of downtown Los Angeles. This spot is wild and private, a secluded peak inside urban sprawl. We will meet at a location in Lincoln Heights to carpool to the hilltop, as there is street parking only. It may be windy, so bring layers. We will have to walk a short distance on a dirt road – this may be difficult for wheelchair access.
