Instructor Scott Cazan will teach you about Arduino and explore many of its artistic applications in this three-session class.
An Arduino is an open-source micro-controller with the ability to quickly and easily interface with a variety of sensors, electronics, and software making it a staple of physical computing in artistic applications. We will cover a variety of topics such as basic electronics, hardware sensors, programming in the Arduino language, and what can be done when you combine all of these things. All materials are included in the cost of the class.
Requirements:
A laptop running OS X, Windows, or Linux with a USB port.
Prerequisites:
A basic knowledge of programming and/or electronics is helpful but not necessary. We will start from the beginning.
