Dear friends:
Please join us on Sunday, February 15th as we (attempt) to walk from Machine Project to the Beach. We’ll navigate our city on foot, traversing avenues, alleyways, boulevards, and Starbucks restrooms. We’ll brave blisters and sunburns, but we’re tired of sitting in front of our computers, and ultimately the journey is our destination. Who says nobody walks in LA? Come join us and explore why or why not. Everyone is invited from Sunset to Sunset.
Logistics:
Meet us at Machine Project at 7:30 am on the 15th for bagels, tea and coffee. Bring hats to shield from the sun, sunscreen, water, snacks, comfortable shoes and consider bringing a change of socks and/or shoes. We will depart promptly at 8:00am, taking Sunset to Santa Monica Blvd, headed for the stretch of beach just north of the Santa Monica Pier. Location updates will be posted on the Machine Project Facebook – feel free to meet us along the way, ditch us for your own route, or drop out as needed. We’ll take the bus home at the end of the day. No RSVP required but if you’re planning to come send us an email to machine@machineproject.com so we have an idea of how many bagels to buy.
