Machine This Week: March 13th and Beyond

Workshop: Bondage Hoods, Bagels, and Bloody Marys
Saturday, May 2, 11-2pm

This Saturday Machine Project has made the questionable decision to allow Mark Allen’s college students to host a workshop in our storefront. Presenting Bondage Hoods, Bagels, and Bloody Marys – a morning of crafts and brunch. Local dominatrix Kim Ye will give an introduction to the subculture, then lead participants through the crafting of their own custom bondage hoods out of vegan-friendly pleather. Accompanying the crafts are an assortment of delicious sliced bagels, and tasty bloody marys. Space is limited, tickets can be purchased for $5 here. This is meant as a safe, welcoming environment allowing participants to explore the aesthetics and erotics of bondage at their own pace.

Workshop: Workshop on Workshops
Saturday, May 9, 1-4pm

Do you have interest in the wide and wily world of workshops? Do you work at an institution interested in hosting workshops? Are you an artist thinking of developing a workshop of your own? Well regardless, come to our Workshop on Workshops next Saturday, May 9th. The Machine Project programming team will discuss our philosophies, trials, and tribulations hosting workshops at Machine, then lead participants through the development of their own projects that will hopefully be surprising, satisfying, and welcoming to the public. This workshop is free but space is limited – RSVP to machine@machineproject.com.
