This summer, join us in the Machine Project mystery theater for an experimental dance workshop hosted by Maria Garcia and Clare Kelly.
Beginning with the premise that dance and performance should be accessible to all, regardless of formal training or education, this six-week workshop is designed to create a comfortable, welcoming space where friends and strangers can work to create movement-based performances. This is an experiment that will be shaped by the interests of the participants. We’re not quite sure what it will be, but we hope to work together to figure that out.
A rotating cast of experimental musicians will work with participants to create collaborative scores, which will evolve over the weeks as we work towards a final performance series in Machine Project’s Mystery Theater. This workshop is open to all humans.
