Join us at Machine Project on Wednesday, September 7th at 8pm, for a presentation on ancient ice and ice core science by D. Graham Burnett, Princeton historian of science and an editor at Cabinet magazine.
Burnett will discuss how ancient ice samples are excavated, stored, and interpreted to yield geothermic data on the past. The event may include direct encounters with a chunk of ancient ice, courtesy the National Ice Core Laboratory.
This program is part of Quarterly, an occasional series of events organized by Machine Project and Cabinet magazine, and curated by Sasha Archibald.
