Storefront Engineering Activities
- With Denise King from The Exploratorium, we planted a vertical succulent garden in our storefront facade, watered by the run-off from our Air Conditioning unit. More information about our “succulent quilt” here.
- We have some fantastic books that we have published over the years based on our projects. Mostly they are stored in the basement but sometimes they are elevated to the gallery level via secret bookshelves for your perusal and purchase. More information about our secret bookshelves here.
- Our gallery space was converted into a forest for the month of April 2009. One tree stump watering hole remains from this epic transformation, and sometimes beer emerges through a hole in it.
We thought giving donations to Machine Project should be more fun for you and less awkward for us so we built a pneumatic cash machine that will literally suck the dollars from your giving hand. More information about the pneumatic cash machine here.
